Youth tourism as a way of cultural integration: regional aspect (on the example of Tomsk)

The article is devoted to the topical problem of youth tourism on the example of Tomsk region, student multicultural educational space, which is the driver of cultural integration. The subject of the study is the characteristics of young people needs in the field of tourism services. The aim of the research is to study youth tourism as a way of cultural integration. As a hypothesis, the authors highlight the position that today the market of touristic services in the region has very few relevant youth tourism programs that meet the needs of this group. The article proposes sociological survey of universities and touristic firms of Tomsk with the use of the author's questionnaire consisting of 20 closed questions was the main method of research. The data obtained clearly indicate the presence of problem areas in the segment of youth tourism programs in the region due to the peculiarities of geographical location (distance from the central part of Russia and major transport hubs, logistically conditioned), limited financial and time resources, lack of mental involvement in the communicative field of cultural diversity...
