Бесплатный доступ

The roots of the dance «Andai» in the modern choreographic art of the Mongolian people of the Autonomous district of the Inner Mongolia of the Chinese People’s Republic are traced in the epoch of the Huns. In the Mongols’ traditional culture, the act under such name was like a shamanic ritual performed with the aim of treating a sick person whose illness was caused by the harmful actions of the spirits. From the middle of the XXth century when China started its new social economic development that act kept its peculiar outer form under full transformation of its inner content and developed in a new way as the heritage of folk art culture. In this connection, in studying the process of ancient shamanic act in modern mass choreographic compositions the changes in the worldview of the whole Chinese population should be taken into account.
