The problem of readiness of the future teachers for the professional work in a multicultural educational environment is discussed. The reasons for the lack of readiness of the future teachers to the profession and change of profession are considered. The article deals with development of readiness of the students to overcoming of professional difficulties, to solve pedagogical problems and effectively communicate with the participants of the educational process. The results of the research on parameters such as motivation for professional activity and the ability to self-development of the students are described
