Scientific and methodological support for the professional development of teachers is one of the strategic objectives of the development of education. The practice of ensuring the professional development of teachers in the vocational education system, built as a triune process of formal, non-formal and informal education, requires the introduction of new mechanisms, among which are: the provision of effective methodological assistance to teachers, taking into account the identified professional deficiencies and the creation of points of growth in the educational environment; organization of advanced training of teaching staff in the framework of the implementation of priority federal projects and programs; targeted recommendations for improving the quality of methodological work and buil-ding individual educational routes for continuous professional development of teachers. An increase in the level of methodological work in a professional educational organization is facilitated by management mechanisms for assessing the quality of education, in which monitoring is one of the tools of the management cycle. The article discusses the result of monitoring methodological work in a professional educational organization as a tool for assessing the scientific and methodological support of continuous professional development of teachers in the vocational education system.
