Monitoring the quality of organization of civic education for schoolchildren in the city of Omsk

An approximate working educational program for general education organizations is considered, which provides for the formation of the Russian cultural and civic identity of students; familiarization with Russian traditional spiritual values, including the values of one’s ethnic group; historical education. Monitoring is presented, the subject of which is the practice of forming the Russian civic identity of schoolchildren at the municipal level (Omsk city). The purpose of the article is to present the monitoring results. A conclusion is drawn about effective directions and problems in the studied area of the municipal education system.
