Monitoring of industrial park projects as an indicator of the industry’s efficiency and competitiveness

These days the development of industries in the regions largely depends on successful implementation of industrial park projects, activation of which is related to the need of providing timely and complete information about their condition, and production and economic potential. Hence the need for a scientifically sound monitoring system at all stages of the life cycle of industrial park projects. The article deals with the process of organizing monitoring of industrial park projects in the industrial sector, outlines its goals and objectives. An overview of the main data sources allowing to perform monitoring is provided. Special attention is paid to functional systematization of indicators and criteria determining the efficiency of the policy of monitoring, which represents an independent stage of its technological cycle. A conclusion is made that a complex of economic, social, legal, budgetary and environmental indicators is the conceptual basis for determining the efficiency of industrial park projects. In order to build a monitoring system for industrial park projects, the article proposes an algorithm based on a customer's request for information. To assess the future prospects of industrial park projects, objectively predetermining the development of the industry as a whole, an average geometric variation of individual parameters of integral indices is calculated.
