The article presents the results of a histological study of pathomorphological changes in internal parenchymal organs in a calf caused by bovine viral diarrhea. Dystrophic damage to the liver parenchyma was established: zonal fatty degeneration of hepatocytes isdetected, part of the hepatocyte population is wrinkled, with manifestations of nuclear karyopyknosis and granular degeneration. Dystrophic and necrobiotic lesions of the renal tissue occur. Morphological signs of interstitial trabecular edema are visible. The red pulp of the spleen is characterized by manifestations of severe hemosiderosis. The cellular organization of the small intestine, down to the deep areas of the lamina propria and the muscular lamina of the mucosa, is completely lost. Submucosa, muscular and serous membranes with manifestations of pronounced interstitial and perivascular edema.
