Morphological characteristics heart with babies at the first year of life died at home

One hundred sixty nine babies died at home at the age of 1 12 months were examined during 2004 2009 years, 60 babies died from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Morphological investigations were made including different heart weighting. It was revealed that in the group of babies died from SIDS the most constant symptoms were: in gross examination right and left heart hypertrophy, there was a great variability of the heart weight, ventricular index its values were statistically above.
