Naropin® - a new amide local anesthetic. The main purpose of our study to establish data about the hematological and biochemical changes occur in rats after the long duration of exposure to this drug. Results showed that, naropin® has not any adverse effect on the haemoglobin content or R.B.Cs and W.B.Cs count. Also, the drug caused increase in the activity of hepatic enzymes and level of creatinine. So we recommended that, the drug may use in veterinary practices but not for long periods and not for aged animals or those suffering from hepatic or renal insufficiency.
