Morphological researches revealed, that the sources of dog sheath innervations are inferior mesenteric ganglion (ganglion mesentericum inferius), pelvic plexus and pudendal nerve. Histostructurally circum-internal nerves of dog and cat corpus and cervix of uterus and sheath involve funicles of myelinated fibres, great amount of multipolar nerve cell tended to modular aggregation. All these formations are enclosed in a capsule formed by collagen fibers of connective tissue fiber. Anatomy-topographic specificity of these nerves is their localization on splanchnopleure medial surface of pelvic fascia ( fascia pelvis ) Morphological analysis of domestic dog and cat extra-peritoneal part of pelvic plexus clearly shows that when using intermediate access for paracervical blockade of domestic dog and cat vaginal nerve, corpus and cervix of uterus and sheath, local anesthetic solution will be got in from the side of splanchnopleure medial surface of pelvic fascia to the zone of direct localization of corpus and cervix of uterus and sheath nerves.
