Oman’s maritime law and policy. Development trends and international cooperation

The article analyzes current maritime laws and regulations in Oman, including their alignment with international conventions and standards. Emphasis is placed on the impact of Oman's maritime policy on the regional and international arenas, as well as the country's role in maintaining security and stability in the region. The study also examines Oman's collaboration with other maritime nations and international organizations on maritime legislation and maritime route security matters. The authors assess the effectiveness of existing maritime policies and offer recommendations for enhancing legislation and strategies to support Oman's maritime safety and contribute to the development of its maritime industry.
