Moscow program on histofusion biopsy of the prostate: results of a survey of practicing urologists based on data from a multicenter study

Introduction. Prostate cancer (PC) is one of the most frequently diagnosed malignant diseases among men. It is necessary to search for new methods of additional visualization. The most promising modern diagnostic method is histoscanning (HS) with the software «True Targeting», which allows you to perform «targeted» prostate biopsy (PB) in real time. We conducted a comparative observational clinical study with anonymous Internet survey implemented based on the SurveyMonkey program. Material and methods. The survey of urology specialists was initiated from the beginning of the «Moscow program for «Histoffusion» biopsies». The survey was composed of 16 questions. Data were obtained and analyzed on the doctor's work experience, experience in performing pancreatic biopsy, hospital, features of the operation, method of choosing anesthesia, patient position and complications in the postoperative period.
