The motif "paradise on Earth" in the artistic consciousness of F. M. Dostoevsky

The article aims to provide a dimly lit aspect of the paradisiacal state of the “lands” in the works of F.M. Dostoevsky, due to the influence of the writer on ancient Eastern Christian spiritual tradition of Hesychasm. For this purpose, first, are analyzed the main semantic layers of the writer's concept of “earth”: folklore, old Testament and new Testament, and secondly - is given the history of Hesychasm in Russian culture and the conductors Hesychast beliefs in the biography of the author of “The Brothers Karamazov”, the third - is identified millenarists character of Dostoyevsky's apocalyptic. As a result is drawn the conclusion about the primary role in the conception of the writer of the Hesychast ideal of “theosis” as not only spiritual and emotional, but also physical changes of man and the adjoining part of the world here, within the boundaries of the history. Themes of Christian chiliasm and “theosis” as the appearance of the islands “Paradise on earth” merged in Dostoevsky's works together.
