Motivation of foreign students from near abroad when choosing the Russian higher educational establishment

International activity of higher educational establishments is directed to improvement of quality of students’ education and raising the status and effectiveness of university. The article deals with one of the parameter assessment of effectiveness of university - the number of students from Near Abroad. It is analysed the denition «motivation». It is paid great attention to motivation of foreign students when choosing the Russian higher educational establishment using South-Ural State Agrarian University as an example. It is dened factors which have an inuence on the choice of foreign students of getting of higher education in Russia. The main factors are low level of life in native countries, opportunity of free education, getting citizenship of the Russian Federation, opportunity to become a highly-qualied specialist and to nd a worthy job.
