The article is aimed at identifying and analyzing the motivational factors for scientific activities of teachers in higher education under modern conditions. The aim of the study is to investigate the dynamics of research motivation in the context of educational digitalization using the example of the University under the IPA EurAsEC. This article considers the current trends in the development of the education system in modern conditions, in which the main problems of the educational environment are identified. The factors of motivation of pedagogical workers in the era of “digital revolution” are identified and analyzed. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the presentation of empirical results on the study of motivation of scientific activity in modern conditions on the example of the teaching staff of the EurAsEC IPA University in the era of digitalization of education. The work identified behavioral patterns of Russian scientists in the educational environment, described their socio-cultural characteristics, and outlined the main motives for engaging in scientific activities within the academic environment.
