The article considers motivational and stimulating component of the phenomenon of university teacher's professional stability. The results of the diagnostics of the motivation for professional activity formation in conditions of uncertainty are presented. The author shows that the motivational and stimulating component of professional stability of university teachers directly affects the quality of performing their professional duties, helps to sustain the interest and desire for self-development even in conditions of uncertainty.
