Мозг, разум, душа в контексте диалога науки и религии

В статье предпринята попытка анализа современных дискуссий о взаимосвязи мозга и сознания, а также связанного с ними представления о душе человека. Показывается, что редукционистская парадигма, доминирующая в настоящее время в нейробиологии, не может рассматриваться как достаточная для объяснения сознания человека. Эмерджентный подход, получивший в настоящее время широкое распространение среди ряда ученых и философов, позволяет дать более адекватное решение проблемы сознания. Показано, что несмотря на ценность эмерджентного понимания ментальных процессов, с богословской точки зрения такой подход недостаточен и должен быть дополнен богословским представлением о человеке как единстве души и тела.
