MRI at planning and an estimation of results of radical abdominal trachelectomy at patients with cervical cancer

The article shows possibilities and discusses a role of a magnitno-resonant tomography (MRI) in acceptance of the clinical decision for planning organ-sparing treatment of cervical cancer patients. The entry criteria for radical abdominal trachelectomy are presented. The analysis of МRI diagnostic value is carried out for preoperative estimation of tumor invasion in patients with early invasive forms and stage IB1.
