Proper and full-fledged anesthetic care is the basis for successful surgical interventions and helps to conduct shock therapy more efficiently in veterinary clinics and in providing first aid to animals in critical conditions. The aim of the research was to improve the scheme of multimodal anesthesia during surgical operations in dogs and cats. In the course of research, protocols with a long premedication stage were most effective, since by the time of surgery, the titer of analgesics in the body reached the necessary values to block most pain impulses, which allowed for high-quality analgesia, reduced doses of basic anesthetics, and relatively rapid postoperative recovery. The selected anesthesia protocols have shown high efficiency, as during monitoring, indicators of heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels.
