Multidrug resistant lung tuberculosis (literature review)

This article presents a study of literature data on the prevalence of pulmonary tuberculosis with multiple drug resistance. Tuberculosis is one of the ten causes of death in the world, which proves the relevance of this pathology in the world scientific community and practical medicine. The largest proportion of deaths occur in low-income countries. Drug-resistant tuberculosis is a resistance to at least four major antituberculosis drugs. Drug-resistant tuberculosis can develop in a patient receiving treatment with an active form of tuberculosis, with improper use and prescription of anti-tuberculosis drugs.
