Global trends show that marketing is becoming an essential component of economic and social development of any territory. Today, municipal marketing - a promising trend of modern marketing theory and practice of management in Russia. It should be noted that the marketing orientation to municipalities throughout the municipal management system is a set of information, organizational, managerial components that provide specific relationship with the territory of the market. Development and effective use of marketing orientation will allow in the near future to determine the distinctive features with which a particular area can be different from its competitors. Also, the use of this tool will allow municipalities to identify priority target markets and identify ways to improve the investment attractiveness of the territory. Investment policy perfection - this is one of the key instruments for improving the competitiveness of the territory, which allows you to expand access to innovative projects, innovative technologies. In this article we discussed ways of increasing the investment attractiveness of the land by the use of municipal marketing.
