Analysis results of mutations in rpoB, katG, inhA и ahpC genes associated with rifampicin- and isoniazid- resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains which circulate in the Kyrgyz Republic are given in the article. A total of 445 specimens were obtained from patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. Mutations of rpoB, katG, inhA and ahpC gene associated with rifampicin and isoniazid resistance were detected by biological chip test. 211 of 445 samples (47%) were found to be wild type MBT strains, while 135 (30%) samples contained mutations associated with RIF or INH resistance. The single primary drug resistance only to RIF was in 2,5% (11/445) patients and to INH was in 20% (88/445)patients multiple drug resistance was revealed in 30% (135/445) patients. Rifampicin and isoniasid resistance of M. Tb strains isolated in Kyrgyzstan are concluded to be associated mostly with Ser531 Leu mutation of rpoB gene, Ser315?Thr mutation of katG gene.
