The article presents an analysis of the anthropocentric motifs of the only collection of the poetess-imagist Susanna Mar (real name Chalkhushyan, married Aksenova) “Abem”, the name of which is associated with A.B. Marienhoff. The lyrical plot combining the poems is reconstructed; autobiographical details that served as a source of lyrical collisions and intertextual links with Marienhoffs work are established; the techniques by which the deification of the male subject takes place, as well as the attributes of the superpersonal subject created by the heroine (hands, eyes endowed with magical and demiurgic properties, etc.) are considered. Constructing an elderly femininity, Mar chooses a non-trivial course to present a love story through memory games. As a result, the reader finds himself in a conditional world consisting of fragments of romantic situations, iconic for individual consciousness, but difficult to decipher by an external observer, images and details of a love story, emotional responses and assessments of both the actions of the poet Anatoly and his own experiences about this. The cosmogonic plot is connected with the creation of a patron, a deity, an alternative to the Christian saints and the Savior himself, in the course of whose service it is possible to hone poetic skills and atone for the sin of love with creativity. The lyrical heroine’s confidence that it is through poetry that she will be able to overcome her longing for her lover is reinforced by her faith in the power and greatness of the lines of the poet Anatoly, who inherited the poem “Table Conversation” from the real Marienhoff. In the poetic world of Mar, this meaning of the named work can be considered along with the Holy Scriptures, since it is the lines of the poem that the lyrical heroine wants to hear from the mouth of Christ after her death.
