Musical communication in the context of semiotic discourse

The relevance of the article is the lack of knowledge of musical communication in the context of the semiotic discourse of modern philosophical, aesthetic and artistic idea. The study focuses on the phenomenon of musical speech as a universal form of human thinking, which in contemporary culture is transformed into the phenomenon of semiosis. The aesthetic principles of musical semiosis are the first step towards elucidating the aesthetics of musical signification. They are reviewed from such aesthetic positions as justification for musical semiosis as a structure of aesthetic relations. It is recognized that the semiotic dimension of semiosis in music appears as a form of musical and aesthetic communication. The authors analyze the foreign and domestic materials on the abovementioned issue, identify the fundamentals of musical semiosis. The article shows a number of contradictions while researching this problem that allows one to expand the semiotic approach to the study of musical communication and culture as a whole.
