Musical theatre of South Ural in 1920-1930-s: epoch of art experiment

The author considers the musical-theatrical forms as means of agitation-educational influence on the general public. The facts about «revolutionary» experiment of regional artists with the academic kinds and genres of musical-theatrical art, about substantial search by theatres of art mosaic (musical-drama cooperative society), small forms and satire (TAMFS) are mentioned. The interrelation of used art methods and aesthetic tasks pursued during creative experiments of 20-30 years is marked. The submitted observations and conclusions are based on documentary materials.
