On the way to update the educational process in military universities

The article deals with the renovation of the educational process in military schools. The analysis of normative and legal acts regulating the future specialists training quality in higher school is made. The author identified a number of reasons that hinder the modernization of the educational process in high school: the conservatism of the military system, the lack of implementation of new methods in the selection of staff, the reluctance and inability of teachers to use innovative forms and methods in the preparation of military specialists. It also touches upon aspects of the integration of educational and scientific activities at the university, contributing to the improvement of curricula, teaching techniques and subjects of scientific research. The content of the scientific work of students and cadets, young scientists and teachers is revealed. The basic professionally important qualities and abilities required of military experts in terms of competitiveness are described. The system of measures, which will allow to turn out specialists that tend to increase their level of professional skills, capable of quick and accurate orientation in a difficult situation, thinking creatively and solving their professional tasks. They expressed the author's point of view on the need to create conditions for innovative training future military experts in high school. The article reflects the importance of upgrading the training facilities of military schools, which should provide a needed level of the teaching staff training, research staff, and technical staff as well as highly qualified personnel attraction. The author denotes the priority areas of military education development under the conditions of the Russian Federation Armed Forces reforming. Article meets the modern requirements imposed on the reform of military education in general. It is of interest to the administrative board of military schools, faculty, researchers, post-graduate students, future bachelors and masters. Article submissions may be used for scientific and pedagogical and scientific-methodical seminars, round tables and scientific conferences in the military academies.
