National features of nonverbal communication

There are two ways of communication among human beings - verbal and nonverbal. The function of nonverbal expression is quite important in people's communication. And it has it's own instinctive national features. In learning a foreign language, in addition to learning the courtesy, we should get to know the unique guestures that the native speakers use in their communication. This essay tries to find the practical laws in using the guestures by analyzing their features in different nationalities and offer the language learners some practical reference to hold a smoother intercultural communication.
