Exploring the genesis of afroethnosociolectisms by the English substandard lexicography of the late XIXth century

The article analyzes the genesis of afroethnosociolectisms as it is presented in the English substandard lexicography, with the focus on J.S. Farmer, W.E. Henley`s dictionary «Slang and its Analogues». The research showed that afroethnosociolectisms are distributed between four discrete areas of their origin, about 25% of afroethnosociolectisms forming an interarea interafrosociolect.
