The article analyzes the eschatological experiences of K.K. Sluchevsky (“Echo of the Apocalypse”, “Incarnation of Evil”). Basing on the historical-philosophical and comparative method, the author of the study identifies the main stages of deconstruction, during which K.K. Sluchevsky deprives the being of spatio-temporal attributes, destroys the trinity of the Christian absolute and gives the suffering an ontological status. The hermeneutic interpretation of “The Apocalypse Imitation” makes it possible to establish that in Sluchevsky's system Yahweh is once again reduced to the level of the demiurge, and his creative acts are reduced to the level of selection experiments. The reduction of the creative ability of the deity, according to the author of the article, entails the elevation of the “fiery” attribute. At the same time, the “fire” is devoid of the elemental principle and is subject to the will of the Great Voice, which is directly correlated with the gnostic “Father”. Comparison of the obtained results with the criticism of rationalistic methodology in “The Evil Incarnate” allows the author of the article: 1) to eliminate individual gaps in understanding the philosophical heritage of Sluchevsky; 2) for the first time to show the systematic connection of the studied texts with the ontological constructions of the poem “Eloa” and the philosophy of Russian literary modernism.
