Hope and belief in dehumanized society

The article analyses the most important universal categories of hope and belief applying to the works of philosopher and psychologist E. Fromm. Considering the problem of human personality the author draws a conclusion that a human has been gradually transformed into a part of a huge social mechanism which controls him, impose its will on him intensifying the feelings of despair, alienation, false activity. In such a technological society a human grows emotionally poor.
