Reliability of the pneumatic sowing complex in seed sowing operations

The article discusses the features of operation and possible malfunctions and failures that may occur during the use of a pneumatic sowing complex when sowing seeds to a given depth of their embedding in the soil, taking into account the provision of agrotechnically justified feeding area for plants. The quality of sowing is influenced by the choice of sowing equipment, the quality of the soil treatment, the quality of seed material, strict compliance with agrotechnical sowing dates, the qualification of personnel. Compliance with all these requirements does not guarantee optimal sowing quality if a failure occurs due to clogging of the working organs of the sowing unit. This type of failure often happens in the fields of farms in the Irkutsk region and brings considerable losses to rural producers in the planned harvest. The calculation of the consequences of clogging one coulter for the entire sowing process is given.
