Supervision of the Soviet prosecutor's office: constitutional basics of implementation

This article presents the author's view on some aspects of the formation and development of the Soviet prosecutor's office, the prerequisites for the emergence of this institution in the Soviet state, which determined the features of its legal status in the future, are noted. As a result, it is noted that during the Soviet period, the prosecutor's office acted as: a supervisory body and a control body (over the activities of the court).
