The paper describes chance finds of bronze celts discovered in the lower reaches of the Moskva-river over the years. Right now the places where such celts have been found in this area are the northernmost findspots of weapons with two loops. The authors refer the artifacts to the late stage of the Pozdnyakovo culture when the impact and influence of the Srubnaya (Timber-Grave) culture are replaced by the Andronovo-like ‘veil’ (Lugovoe and Suskan cultures). The data of the X-ray fluorescence analysis show that both celts were cast from arsenical bronze with addition of tin.
