The names of the Chinese realia in the Russian text: the issues of calquing (based on the names of the bodies of authority, enterprises and institutions in the Russian and Russian-language mass media)

The article deals with the topical problem of calquing of the names of the Chinese state, municipal and administrative bodies, the enterprises or institutions in Russian, used in the journalistic texts. There are determined the translation rules of the hieroglyphic words while calquing and the ways of transmitting their meaning. There is analyzed the function of the use of the calques of the Chinese official names in the Russian and Russian-language mass media.
