During the study of the living ground cover in pine and spruce cultures in the northern taiga subzone of the Arkhangelsk region 30 years after the tillage it is revealed that the species diversity, abundance and productivity of the living ground cover on the silvicultural areas is higher than in the even-aged young stands of natural origin.
