The article considers the situation that is developing in the national economy of Russia under the influence of shocks of a non-economic nature. The focus of the analysis is on the 2022 shock caused by the anti-Russian sanctions. The mechanism of the impact of the shock on the real sector of the economy is studied. The key directions of the economic policy focused on the stabilization of the economy and overcoming the crisis are proposed.
