The problem of increasing the efficiency of the organization of work in the university for the development of digital competencies of teachers is considered. The relevance of the study is due to the need for scientific understanding of the experience of higher educational institutions in the development of digital competencies of teachers and the search for methods to improve its effectiveness. Possible directions for organizing the professional development of teachers, as well as qualification and organizational conditions that must be taken into account are considered.
