Directions for improving the safety of industrial production in the digital economy

Industrial production is an industry that generates a high proportion of innovations that are adapted to various types of economic activities and services. in this regard, the state's strategic goals for digitalization are primarily aimed at this sector. Industrial production safety is a complex concept that acquires new aspects due to the accelerated pace of implementation of innovative digital solutions. The purpose of the article is to identify promising areas of industrial production security in the digital production environment at various levels of management. Main methods: General logical research methods, modeling of socio-economic processes, system and situational scientific approaches. As results of the research, the problems and trends of industrial production development in the digital economy are identified, a model of the production cycle of industrial enterprises in the digital environment is proposed, and the main directions of economic security are identified. Authors concluded that industrial production is a key sector of material production, on the development of which the pace and dynamics of the competitiveness of the domestic economy depend. Economic security of industrial enterprises is associated with high financial and economic results that ensure high competitiveness of products and work in the break-even zone. Another aspect of security is a high level of control over production processes, reducing production risks for people based on digital solutions, preserving technologies and tax revenues in Russia.
