In this article the main directions of increase of efficiency of work on prevention of neglect and protection of the rights of minors in municipal formation the city of Orenburg are considered. Special attention is paid to solving such problems as financing the social sphere, improving the competence of parents, as well as early identification of children and families at an early stage of family distress.
