Directions of improvement strategy for social and economic development of the region and policy of its implementation

The article investigates the main directions of regional development, mechanisms and policy implementation of regional strategies in the application of the new Act concerning the strategic planning in the region. When considering and planning the strategy for social and economic development till 2030 most regions have an opportunity to form a creative vision of the development strategy and make an agreement with strategies of neighboring regions and even the whole state.
