Activities of the institute of additional education aimed to increase the university's competitiveness

The development of the Institute of Additional Education (IAE) can increase the University competitiveness in the following areas: professional development of academic staff; increase in teaching quality and in the quality of training and retraining of the academic staff of other organizations; research in additional vocational training; cooperation with international organizations in the sphere of lifelong learning promoting the exchange of best practices, joint programs, international projects. Regulatory and legislative guidelines of the international, federal and university levels are identified; the directions of the IAE development are defined; units of IAE are determined; measures allowing practical implementation of the units of IAE are developed. The practical significance of the materials in the article is that they allow to develop and implement a program for the IAE activities, corresponding to modern challenges.
