Narcissus, rope-walker, glazier: phenomenon of the «invisible object» in the art of the XX century

This article deals with the phenomenon of the 'invisible object, which characterizes the system of space perception in art of the XX century. In this article it is shown, how the principles of interpretation and evaluation of art works had changed under the influence of a new practice of art topography and how the criteria of language expressiveness were rethought.
