Исследуются различные подходы к классификации уровней и ступеней наркопрофилактики. Обосновываются преимущества новых критериев её классификации, которые одобрены Всемирной организацией здравоохранения. Резюмируется эффективность результатов профилактических программ с элементами нормативного воспитания и контролем за распространением информации. Обращается внимание на результативность применения методик обучения молодежи навыкам сопротивляемости к отрицательному влиянию окружающих людей. Делается вывод о важности исследования рискованных моделей поведения у подростков для развития профилактических и терапевтических стратегий.
