The content of the article presents a broad palette of representations of the various manifestations of A.A. Blok as a poet, philosopher, and individual. The text is structured by employing the metaphor of “our lunar friend” as a literary-scientific basis for understanding A.A. Blok’s lifeworld in its interconnections with himself, his family, friends, allies, and creative rivals. Within this complex, dramatic, even mystical world, several phenomena are analyzed as distinct entities: the phenomenon of Blokiana is examined as an independent literary, historical, and philosophical field; A.A. Blok’s mission as the founder of a marginal poetic culture is defined; emphasis is placed on A.A. Blok’s interpretation of the philosophical teachings of V.S. Solovyov, ancient philosophy, and the role of music in his philosophy and creative work. A.A. Blok’s family circle, with its various emphases on kinship and love relationships, also becomes a subject of interpretation. The feminine theme in A.A. Blok’s lyric poetry is identified as one of the fundamental meanings of the poet’s life and work. The theme of religious-revolutionary events in the poet’s lifeworld is also addressed.
