Apprenticeship as a mechanism for securing young employees in law enforcement agencies

The article is devoted to the problem of organizing an apprenticeship system in law enforcement agencies, promoting the development of professional qualities of young employees and their consolidation in the profession. Using the method of comparative analysis, we have substantiated the approaches to determining the opportunities of apprenticeship in the development of professional qualities of young law enforcement officers and their consolidation in the profession. An analysis of research on the topic under consideration has allowed us to single out approaches to defining the essence of the concept of apprenticeship, the features of its organization in law enforcement agencies, as well as to substantiate the shortcomings that necessitate changes in the existing apprenticeship system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Particular attention is paid to the organization of apprenticeship in departments of transit police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the expansion of knowledge on the organization of apprenticeship in law enforcement agencies, its importance for the development of professional qualities of young employees and their consolidation in the profession. Finally, we have come to the conclusion that it is necessary to organize apprenticeship at all stages of the adaptation period of young employees.
