Currently, the complexity of construction projects is increasing, the conditions for their implementation are changing, and the requirements are becoming more stringent. At the same time, errors occur, often very significant at various stages of the life cycle of a capital construction project. Accordingly, new approaches and models are needed to manage construction projects and capital construction projects. The research objective is to analyze the possibilities and prospects for the use of scientific and technical support (STS) for capital construction projects of various classes and at different stages of their life cycle. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is the work of domestic and foreign researchers devoted to the issues of scientific and technical support for the construction and management of capital construction projects at various stages of their life cycle.
