Vladimir I. Gorobtsov's scientific heritage

The article presents a digest of Doctor of Law, Professor Vladimir I. Gorobtsov’s theoretical views and research achievements. The scientist’s role in the development of the theory of criminal-legal coercion and general doctrinal architecture of criminal-executive procedural (procedural-executive) law, forecasting of tendencies of development and directions of optimization of criminal-legal and criminal-executive relations is noted. The significance of Vladimir Gorobtsov’s scientific activity in the promotion of leading ideas demanded by the scientific community, their popularization and implementation into the educational process, as well as into his students’ dissertation works is demonstrated.
