The article is devoted to the problem of formation of ethical and aesthetic ideals as the dominant of axiological attitude to life and art. The article gives a rationale for the choice of methodological approaches to the development of strategy for the formation of older preschoolers’ ethical and aesthetic ideals; an older preschooler’s reflexive ability is regarded as a reliable mechanism for self-development.
