The article is devoted to the problem of formation of ethical and aesthetic ideals as the dominant of value attitude to life and art. The article gives a rationale for the choice of methodological approaches in the development strategy for the formation of ethical and aesthetic ideals of the older preschoolers, reflexive ability of older preschooler regarded as a reliable mechanism for self-development.
