The scientific institutions of the soviet far east in the 1920-1930s

The article deals with the establishment and development of the network of the Far Eastern scientific institutions in the first two decades of the Soviet Power. It considers the new forms of the organisation of the scientists' activities and the contradictory influence of the State branch administering policy towards the science of the 1930s upon the regional research institutions.
